Hello, I'm Jonah Naplan, and I love movies! I'm 15 years old and I live in Phoenix, Arizona. 

My passion for movies began in 2016, when I first started appreciating animated movies such as Zootopia, Norm of the North and Sing. Since then, my film viewing appetite has greatly broadened to include classic films such as 12 Angry Men, Citizen Kane, Psycho, Casablanca, Seven Samurai, and 2001: A Space Odyssey, as well as most of the contemporary releases of recent years. 

With aspirations of becoming a film director myself, I am especially a fan of legendary artists including Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Alfred Hitchcock, Spike Lee, Ridley Scott, James Cameron, and Martin Scorsese. These icons have inspired my own filmmaking, which, at this time, has included the direction of a few short-film projects for school, most notably A Midsummer Night's Movie, that I not only wrote and directed, but starred in with my friends. I one day aspire to make movies of my own, and to attend an esteemed film school.

As a reviewer of films, I am most influenced by the legendary team of Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert, the latter having created the "Four Star" review system, which I now use myself. 

By writing reviews, I hope to offer a unique and well-thought-out perspective on the movies I see.
